continuing to pour billions of dollars into developing access to Pacific
Rim trade. Previously, I had a conclusive and positive dialogue with
former President Vicente Fox about my project, with good relations
developed to the point where I attended his daughter’s wedding in Leon.
Locally, here in Sinaloa, Mexico, I have the enthusiastic and un-hedged support of the Mayor of Mazatlan, and the State Governor, who clearly see Playa Laguna as very positive for the economy of Sinaloa and Mazatlan. I have met with Carlos Slim, who is the concessionaire for the Maxipista, International Road # 15, which I have over a Km, on each side. In 18 months, you will be able to go from the International Airport, without a stop sign, in 25 minutes, to PLAYA LAGUNA: The International Convention Center has been open for 1 1/2 years. The new road to Durango, with the tallest bridge in the world, and the access to the Caribbean will be done by October of this year.
As your investors will understand, I am well connected internationally, across the U.S., and locally in Sinaloa. In addition to the above examples, I am connected in many other ways, as is my staff, which not only makes me aware that this is the right time and the right place for the development of Playa Laguna, but connects me to secondary developers and investors who will make Playa Laguna proceed at a fast pace, once begun, providing an excellent and rapid Return On Investment.
All properties already in the Playa Laguna project, or that may be brought in, are clear title, with all claims are already, or will be, disposed of before inclusion.

What makes Playa Laguna an exciting investment are all the usual positive details of timing, costs, price point to market, location, etc., such as exist for many other projects, as detailed in our presentation, but we think are even better here.
However, there are three differences that make Playa Laguna nearly unique in the world:
First, the Lagoon that we own is a natural ecological preserve, not an artificiality that other projects try to construct, and often fail (such as in Loreto on the Baja).
All it needs is a little trimming up to include it’s biodiversity within the Playa Laguna Project.
It is for real, and it is timeless. We are for real in our intent to preserve it and create a project around it with 50% green space, which is my choice; zoning is approved for 80%.
In a world now deeply concerned, even fearful, for where they and their family may find quality of life, the market is ready for Playa Laguna.
There are only a few places in the entire world where such an opportunity exists within a short range of a full service City such as Mazatlan, in a safe and self-sufficient agricultural State such as Sinaloa, and within easy reach of a market the size of the entire North American population, a population already predisposed for an ecological retreat from dense, and in some cases failing, cities of the cold north lands.
Mazatlan is on the same latitude as Hawaii, and has the same climate.
Secondly, the material and labour costs, the economy of Mexico in troubled times provide a ground floor opportunity to build right into a socioeconomic recovery in North America, after which costs will be more expensive, and profits harder to achieve.
Right now, Playa Laguna provides a very unique opportunity for investors and developers to participate for substantial profit, whether it is for the short, the intermediate or the longest term. Even an investor or group who decide to exercise the exit strategy at six months will profit handsomely. Those who invest for several years are projected to profit very, very well, probably over 100% per year. I am being conservative, and see an 800 % return over 5 years.
But Playa Laguna is not just about immediate or intermediate profit, although that will be generous. It is about building and “Edge City” as it was termed in Valle del Sol, or a “satellite city” as we call it here, viable in itself to continue to grow with ecological sensibility. Fortunately, our beautiful Lagoon is located 17 km north of the City of Mazatlan, which is ideally located to fulfill that vision
Those who invest now, and compound their investments over the longer term of a decade or so, will reap the best profit of the Playa Laguna project. As a satellite city, Playa Laguna will be here and successful for many decades.
Thirdly, the Mazatlan port and transportation infrastructure is building rapidly and nearing completion toward an explosion of Pacific trade, particularly container shipping exchanged with Guangzho and Shanghai. Which are on the same latitude is Hawaii and Mazatlan.
